Jenquip EC-20 Electronic Plate Meter
Accurate and robust grass measuring tool with Bluetooth connectivity, designed to make measuring, recording and managing pasture covers quicker and more efficient.
Using the Jenquip App on an Android or iOS smartphone, the EC-20 records pasture measurements as you complete your farm walk. The app displays available grass cover and grass height, while residuals and calculation equations can be easily adjusted when required.
Once the farm walk is complete, data can be uploaded directly to compatible grassland management software, including PastureBase Ireland and AgriNet, reducing the need to manually record and transfer paddock measurements.

Why Measure Grass?
Regular grass measuring gives farmers accurate information on pasture availability and grass growth, supporting better grazing decisions throughout the season.
Monitoring and recording farm covers can help with grazing rotations, identifying surpluses and deficits, fertiliser decisions and monitoring individual paddock performance. Using systems such as PastureBase Ireland also allows grass production and farm performance to be tracked over time.
